HoHoHeHeHaHa... ummm

Ho hum. My title has nothing to with my post and my post has nothing to with anything any particular. Am I making sense? See there are little thoughts running here and there in my brain... some may actually turn into posts... but thats in the future.
So I was thinking... what do radicals, exponents, and roots have to do with playing the piano? If you know the answer could you please let me know, because I have yet to find the answer to that question.

Have you ever participated in writing 154 comments on a Facebook picture? I have and let me tell ya, its hilarious.

I am doing a poster board (blog post to follow in the future on this) for geography. Well, thats what I am doing right now (when I am not on the computer). Actually Trevor, another guy,and I are doing. Just me right now. All the stuff is at my house and I am the "decorator/organizer" or whatever you wanna call me. Its due tomorrow and we are so going to get an A!

I just sneezed... life is great!

What would it be like to have no school and live in Hawaii? Don't you think it would be glorious?

I went to a different church this Sunday. I went my church and then left early and went to this other church. It was great! Couldn't understand a word cause it was all in Russian... thats why we had a translator, but it still was awesome. I think I am going to go back again with the friends I went with... good experience. I also think that I am going to go to a Spanish church soon... so anyone wanna come with me?

My music is on, I think I am going to change the playlist because I have listened to two of Jesse MacCartney's songs about 15 times. Hmmmm... how about some Chris Rice.

Its almost Christmas! Well kinda not really... with the way time flies it will be here before you know it.

I believe that universities and Attila the Hun have many similarities. They both tear you in pieces. I hate decisions... and yes those two statements go together.

Which spelling do you like better? "True" or "Troo"? :D

I am starting to be sad... basketball is almost over!!!!!!!!!!!! Boohoo!

Auditions for "Music Man" are in 3 weeks... still haven't decided it I am going to audition. Prolly but who knows.

I am so playing softball this year. Wait maybe I should say "attempting to play". lol

Went to a party at my friends house on Friday... stayed up till way late... got home at 1:00 am... was so rad!

Did you know that... ya, well I forgot. I will save it for next post.

My Second Reading of Children's Books

When I was young (meaning between the ages of 3-9), I read or was read story and picture books all the time. There was never a big enough stack in our house and the library was a favorite place for me to visit. As I grew older though, those books with bright pictures and big words were traded for books with small words and no pictures. I continued reading and even now, reading is a pastime that I cherish, and definitely don't get enough of.

Over time I have reread many of those brightly colored and whimsical stories to small eager children that I have babysat or spent time with. But now, at the ripe old age of 18, I am picking those types of books up yet again, to learn from their wisdom and gain confidence in my limited reading skills. I can be found sitting on my bed or at my desk reading a book covered in pictures. Often I am laughing and more often I have a puzzled look on my face. Hmmmm... maybe I need be reading board books first. It is as if I am discovering the stories and facts for the first time!

In order to allay any fears that you might have in regards to my reading skills... let me clarify something. All these books are in Spanish. :D

Yes, I am not unlike a 5 year old in my reading skill... the jokes, pretty pictures and big words are perfect for me. I am quite thrilled with my books and am looking forward to a trip to the children's section of the library sometime next week. Right now, my favorite book is Curious George, or as is it is called in Spanish: "Jorge el Curioso".

For your benefit (especially those of you who know Spanish) here is an excerpt from mi libro favorito!

"Éste es Jorge. Vivía en África. Era muy feliz. Pero tenía una falta: era demasiado curiouso. Un día Jorge vió a un hombre. Llevaba un sombrero amarillo grande de paja. El hombre vió a Jorge también. -¡Qué monito más lindo! - pensó. - Me gustaría llevarlo a casa conmigo. Puso el sombrero en el suelo y, por supuesto, Jorge tuvo curiosidad. Bajó del árbol para mirar aquel sombrerón amarillo de paja."

I am a ping-pong ball!!

Woohoo!!! I just received my acceptance letter from WWU!!! I am so excited!!!!!!
But now I feel like a ping-pong ball.
CU or WWU... CU or WWU... CU or WWU!
Aaah... I can't make up my mind. At least I have until May 1st to make my final decision. When I was talking to dad about this predicament the other day he summed it up quite eloquently by saying "you feel like a ping-pong ball, don't you?" Hahaha!! Truer words were never spoken. My "decision" changes from hour to hour... depending on my mood, on friends, on classes, on piano, on the amount of sleep, on family, and the list could go on. In about 2 1/2 months I will no longer be a ping-pong ball, but in the mean time I will be bounced from side to side without a break. :D
Well, there is my news...

4 X 4

This is the fourth picture in my fourth foulder!

This is my cat named George. He has many other names including, Fluffy, Fat Boy, Pudge, Budha Belly, Fatty, Jorge, small one, etc. He is around 20 pounds and is one smart cat! He is a baby (even though is 5 years old) and a coward, but he has provided us with a source of entertainment through his constant antics. We have taught him to sit and fetch all on command, and when he gets into his crazy mood, he has been known to jump up and turn the lights on. Aside from all this, he is truly an affectionate cat. When you are sick he will come and sit with you, when you are hurting he comes and sleeps behind your head, and when he misses you, he cries and cries until you come home or open the door to let him into your room. He is one amazing cat, and I love him!!
